Call For Gifted Education Advocacy

Would you like to tell your legislators just what it is they need to fix about gifted K-12 public education in Michigan?  Plan to attend the Community Conversation evening your local gifted organizations are now planning for a weeknight in May.  You will be asked key questions about K-12 education in Michigan and have the opportunity to express your opinion!  A transcript of the event will be taken and forwarded to legislators.

Gifted In Michigan, Rochester Sage, the Michigan Association for Gifted Children, and MightyMindz will be participating.  Other Southeast Michigan gifted organizations will also be invited to participate.

We are setting the date right now for this event.  Our list of possible dates include: May 10,11,14,15,18,22,23,24,25,29,30.  We’d like to narrow down this list.  Assuming you would like to attend, are there any dates here you would like us to eliminate based on your unavailability?   Please email with this information by Friday, April 20th.  Also, if you know of a library that may be willing to host, please let us know.  Thanks!

We will publish date/time/location for this event as soon as it is available!  Thanks in advance for your participation.
