What is an EdChat?

A Phi Delta Kappa International (PDK) EdChat is a one-time event where thoughtful educators informally gather together and discuss an important topic in education chosen by the host. PDK also provides the first round of refreshments!

What is Phi Delta Kappa International?

Phi Delta Kappa International (PDK) is the premier professional association for educators. For more than 100 years, it has focused its work on the tenets of service, research, and leadership.

Who is Sherry Sparks?

Sherry Sparks, President-Elect of the Michigan Association of Gifted Children, has 30 years of experience in education. She has served as a teacher, curriculum director, education consultant for Wayne RESA ISD, teacher trainer/mentor, and gifted consultant. Sherry also is the founder of MightyMindz, an organization providing guidance for families of gifted children.

This is a FREE event open to educators at all levels. RSVPs are required, as seats are limited.
