U of M Physics Department Lecture: Mysteries of the Dark Universe

Greetings Saturday Morning Physics Patrons!

The Michigan Physics Department invites you to a special public lecture featuring Rocky Kolb from the University of Chicago titled, “Mysteries of the Dark Universe.”

Ninety-five percent of the Universe is missing! Most of the mass and energy in the Universe are in mysterious forms called dark matter and dark energy. Unlocking their secrets will illumin…ate the nature of space and time and connect the quantum with the cosmos.

This lecture will be held on Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Edward Henry Kraus Building (Natural Science), #2140, 830 North University Ave., Ann Arbor, MI 48109-1048. Refreshments will be available starting at 6:30 PM, followed by the lecture at 7:00 PM.
