The Michigan Association for Gifted Children (MAGC) Conference, “Gifted Education: Kick it Up a Notch,” in October was so successful, we were asked to hold it again at Emerson School in Ann Arbor on Saturday, December 7th.
There will be seminars for parents, teachers, and school administrators, including presentations by experts on advanced learners and addressing the academic and social needs of these unique students (perfectionism, gifted curriculum, gifted boys). There will be a session where teachers and parents will be split to ask questions and get feedback specific to their situation.
Registration is $45 for MAGC Members and $55 for non-members. Lunch is provided in the registration fee, and seminars can apply to continuing education credits for educators (SCECH).
